Howard Smith Wharves

HSW Nominees. led by Adam Flaskas were selected by Brisbane City Council to undertake the revitalisation of Howard Smith Wharves.

Howard Smith Wharves Brisbane is one of the largest revitalisation projects Kennedy’s have been involved in.
The refurbishment of timbers that were originally installed during the 1930s was begun by the dismantling of the wharf, followed by it being processed through Kennedy’s Narangba facility.

Tens of 1000’s of lineal metres of timbers were processed by being denailed/metal detected, regraded, seasoned then finally reproduced into many applications including;

• Cladding
• Table tops
• Chairs
• Decking
• Dry & wet bar tops
• Bar fronts

Quantities of timbers were sourced and supplied through Kennedy’s for applications throughout the enormous project featuring within Seven of the bars & eatery’s and the Fantauzzo hotel.
