Our final day into Kennedy’s week-long celebration of the amazing women working in our business and today we feature our youngest employee – Annabel. Studying business, IT and German whilst working at Kennedys part time for the past three years Annabel is a role model for benefits in having intelligent, confident and empowered young women engaged in adding value to the timber industry. From designing our production IT, creating cloud-based software solutions to the occasional translation of a German language equipment manual are just a few of the many things Annabel accomplishes to a ridiculously high standard of excellence.

The timber industry has historically been an industry with a relatively high LTI frequency, consequentially Kennedys are pleased to have one of the lowest LTI frequency rates nationally across our industry thanks to our safety-first approach. This approach is reinforced with industry leading systems, procedures, safety compliance assessment and ISO 45001 accredited audits by Lynn. Additionally, Lynn has developed a strong personal ownership of safety with all Kennedys employees. Lynn is MBA qualified in occupational health and safety, leading the field with her knowledge and expertise. Our staff and their families thank you for the work you do to ensure all employees arrive safely, work safely and go home safely each and every day. Lynn, Kennedys thank you for the enormous contributions you have made and continue to make strengthening safety in our business and across the timber industry #wtfnqld #womenintimber #choosetochallenge #iwd2021 #internationalwomensday #greatstaff
